How to Dominate and Maintain Massive Momentum in Life

There is a common denominator among all people in the working class. We all share the same cravings for success. We want to make it to the top and be vital to every company we’re working for or the clients we want to attract. We try hard to display our value and yet not everybody sees it.

It’s funny how we still go unnoticed despite all the grind we’re doing. Success seems too far-fetched. It’s getting harder and harder to make something out of our names. Sometimes you question if it’s even worth it.

I’ve been in the working class for most of my life. Saying that it’s frustrating to be undervalued is an understatement. It took me a long time to climb the corporate ladder and be treated as important or necessary at the very least. But after knowing the secret formula to dominate and maintain massive momentum in life, I was able to flip my whole existence.

I did a lot of trial and error to find the strategy that works. Contrary to what you may think, yearly reviews at work did not do me much good. I had to work on myself and dig deep into what’s working and what I can improve on.

After years of failed experiments, let’s talk about the ways to dominate in life.

5 Success Hacks for Dream Builders and Purpose-Driven Entrepreneurs

1. Be Realistic

Life is sometimes sugar-coated and full of false pretenses. I hate to break it to you but if working too hard would not always yield the results you want to achieve.

Take some time to assess yourself and the work that you’re doing. Is it making an impact or are you going through your days just to go through them? What difference are you bringing to your organization?

Talking to your manager or colleagues at work can give you an idea of what you’re bringing to the table. Ask them questions like:

  • What can’t you do without me?
  • What do you think are my strengths and weaknesses?
  • How do you think can I make more impact?

There is always bias in self-assessment. Thus, I don’t suggest doing just that. It’s important to get some outside perspective too.

2. Go Above and Beyond

Upon entering the corporate or entrepreneurial world, we had our contracts or business plans. We had a list of the things we should accomplish - our job description in a nutshell.

I’d like to believe that our tasks will be limited to just those things on the list. However, it’s not.

If you’re working for a company, chances are, you’ll have to do things you never signed up for. If you’re self-employed, you’ll probably have to put in more effort.

There’s so much more that needs to be done than what’s written on paper. You’ll have two options.

  1. Complain
  2. Go Above and Beyond

I’ll say always go with the latter. Yes, it’s tiresome but if you’re serious about getting massive momentum in life, it’s worth all the sweat.

Once your superiors notice your efforts and how you help them in times of need, they will keep you on their radar. They will want to get to know you personally. And voila! You’re one step further than where you started.

3. Keep Learning

You’ve done the work. Give yourself a pat on the back and keep learning. Getting noticed means that people are trusting you more. They will see you as an authority and expect that you know more.

Make sure you play the part. How? You have to keep your brain sharp. Acquire all the knowledge necessary to keep climbing the ladder. Consider it an all-you-can-eat buffet.

In business, it’s always a win-win situation. The more you know, the more you earn. Isn’t it amazing? So give them what they want and beat your old self every time.

4. Network

It’s time to put your social skills into practice. Network purposefully. It does not have to be limited to your organization. Know as many people as you can and be sincere about it. Make friends with them and stay in touch. You never know who will soon play an important role in your career.

The key to dominate and maintain massive momentum in life does not need to depend entirely on you. Your network is vital. Keep it growing.

5. Repeat

Stagnation is one of the killers of success. Still, settling with your current situation is up to you. If you want to really maintain your success though, you have to keep getting better. Trust me, you’ll thank yourself every time.

Dominating in business or in the workplace is as easy as ABC. You simply have to find your groove. These success hacks got you covered.
